Quick Tips for Fundraising

Language

We want to make sure we’re intentional in the language we use around abortion (i.e. "people" rather than "women" to be inclusive of all folks who get abortions), and would ask anyone fundraising in our name to do the same.

Here is recommended language for your event page:

Proceeds from this event benefit the Baltimore Abortion Fund. BAF is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and practical support to all people who live in or travel to Maryland for their abortions. Learn more at baltimoreabortionfund.org.
